1. Data Controller

The data controller for personal data processed through this website is Seyra Dagadu, trading as probative.io, Luzern, Switzerland — contactable at contact@probative.io. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and the UK Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the data you voluntarily provide through the forms on this site:

  • The contact form — name, email address, organisation and role, jurisdiction of interest, and your enquiry message.
  • The feedback form — your comments, with name and email optional; anonymous feedback is fine.
  • The newsletter — your email address and nothing else (section 7).

Browsing the site itself collects nothing: no analytics, no tracking, and no logging of your reading.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to respond to your enquiry, to provide the services you have requested, or to send you the newsletter you subscribed to. The legal basis is your consent and, where an engagement follows, the performance of that engagement. We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties except where required by law.

4. Data Storage, Security & Retention

All data is stored on servers located in Switzerland. We employ industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for no more than twelve months; engagement records are kept for six years as commercial law requires; a newsletter address is kept only while you remain subscribed, plus the record that you consented.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@probative.io. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU or UK, your national data-protection authority.

6. Cookies & Scripts

Browsing this website sets no cookies at all — there are no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics. Submitting a form sets one short-lived session cookie, used solely to rate-limit the form against abuse; it identifies no one and is not used for anything else. No page on this site loads scripts from any other domain.

7. Newsletter

The newsletter is optional and separate from any enquiry. If you subscribe:

  • We collect your email address only — no name, organisation, or other detail is required.
  • Subscription is confirmed by double opt-in: we email you one confirmation link, and you join the list only when you click it. That click is recorded — the time and your address, nothing more — as our record of your consent. An unconfirmed address is never added to the list and is not kept.
  • The list is operated with the Infomaniak Newsletter tool, on Swiss infrastructure, as our processor; your address reaches it only after you confirm. It is not shared with anyone else and is never sold.
  • We do not use open tracking or click tracking. We cannot tell whether you opened an issue or which links you followed.
  • Every issue carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes your address from the list; you may also ask us to delete it, and the consent record, at contact@probative.io.
